Warriors defender Alec Mudimu recently celebrated his 26th birthday with teammates at Turkish club Ankaraspor. Mudimu who moved to Turkey at the beginning of this year appears to have settled in well with recent birthday celebrations depicting the warm nature of his new club.
Mudimu has been a pillar for the Warriors since making his debut for Zimbabwe. He helped Zimbabwe qualify for the 2019 Afcon finals held in Egypt and was part of the squad which overcame Botswana to book a berth at the Afcon finals which will be hosted by Cameroon next January.
The centre back who has now amassed 21 appearances for Zimbabwe still has age on his side as he seeks to accumulate plenty more national caps.
Dedicated towards representing his country the Warriors star will also be hoping to help his Turkish first division club move away from the relegation zone. At present Ankaraspor is 17th on the 18 team standings and face the risk of relegation.
