Former Zimbabwe senior men’s national football team captain Willard Katsande has sent an emotional goodbye message to Kaizer Chiefs following his departure from the club after an incredible 10-years of service at Naturena.
Katsande alongside seven others whose contracts will not be renewed by Amakhosi to pave way for new blood at the club saluted the team’s stakeholders for their unwavering support since his arrival as a young boy from Ajax Cape Town in 2011.

After playing a total of 326 matches for the Soweto side, the veteran stalwart won two Premier League titles in the 2012/13 season and during the 2014/15 campaign as well as the Nedbank Cup in 2013 and MTN8 in 2014.
