Ngezi Platinum Stars have unveiled 3 new signings as the club gears up towards the start of the 2023 season.
Although dates of when the Premier Soccer League will officially start are yet to be released, Madamburo have been hard at work since before the New Year.
In a bid to strengthen the squad Ngezi Platinum have signed 3 new players namely Gareth Madhake, Malvin Gaki and Claude Mapoka.
Gaki who joins Ngezi Platinum from Chicken Inn has earned himself a 2-year contract with the option to extend at the end of 2024.
He is expected to bring plenty of experience to the Ngezi Platinum Stars fold having had stints with Triangle, Harare City and Chicken Inn.
Also set to bolster the Madamburo squad is Madhake who had a sensational season with Black Rhinos last year.
The defender is set to bring further stability to a defense already boasting of players such as Polite Moyo, Kudzai Chigwida, Ariel Makopa and Qadr Amini just to name a few.
In attack, Mapoka is set to give Madamburo further options up front.
Having had stints with Mutare City, Golden Eagles and Green Fuel, Mapoka has an impressive goal scoring record which will be important for the platinum miners when the season commences.
Fast of mind and fleet of foot, the uniquely talented Mapoka is expected to be a huge asset for Madamburo.
Technically masterful and a real difference maker in the final third, Ngezi Platinum Stars will in the coming season have the privilege of having yet another talented player among it’s ranks.
Following the departure of dribbling wizard Tendayi Matindife and Denver Mukamba, the club’s new acquisitions are expected to fill the void left by departing players.
